Andrea M. Polnaszek is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, filmmaker, producer, screenwriter and author, whose multifaceted career converges through the glory of God. With a Bachelor’s degree in Social work from
Gordon College, a Master’s in Social Work and Certificate of Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary she owns her own clinical practice. Andrea is the author of the internationally renowned “Elijah
Project” book series, which has been translated into Spanish and Portuguese, Andrea’s ministry efforts continue to flourish as 500 mentors have led workshops based on its principles in Cuba alone.
Through her award-winning efforts as a screenwriter, director and filmmaker, Andrea uses the power of storytelling to teach mental
wellness through relevant topics such as family communication, bullying, and mindfulness. In 2018, Andrea and her screenwriting team were honored with a Teddy for Best Inspirational Screenplay at the
MovieGuide Awards. Her films, which she produces with her sister under their Boylan Sisters moniker, include Wish for Christmas,
Catching Faith, Catching Faith 2, Switched, The Greatest Inheritance and Identity Crisis. Andrea is the proud mother of three. She loves taking walks around Lake Wissota with her husband Perry.
